At school I took Art & Design as a sixth-year subject, which helped me get a place at Glasgow College of Building & Printing studying Design for Print.

I graduated in 1990 and started work almost immediately. I worked for three respected firms in Glasgow, Stirling and Edinburgh before moving to Iona in October 2002, to be with my partner, Jane.

Now I split my time between delivering the mail, taking photographs and working on design projects.

It's not a bad life.

For as long as I can remember, I've been interested in design.
